Sorry, I’ve taken this down as it was not in fact a solution that worked properly. Admins can delete if they want.

You can get megamenu to work in multilanguage and in fact its not too hard. Posted om here & on the net.

However getting it to work with JoomShopping seems to be impossible as whilst the megamenu can deal with more than one menu it can’t seem to deal with a component like JoomShopping for more than one menu. So you lose the menu on the other language if it using that component.

Real shame. I would have thought that most shops these days are multi-language to some extent even if its home language and English to get the export market or tourist, Tiris can’t handle it.

I think Joomlart should make people aware before they buy this template that it cannot be set up for multi-language shops. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautiful template and for a single language site is great but for more than one language it isn’t going to work.

Sad, miss a great template and all that time invested! 🙁 :((

Sadly, whilst this works for others along with other post here http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/home-page-worries/ that has helped others my problems still remain.

I even did a fresh install following my own instructions, went well, worked and now back to the old problems. The old site keeps the slideshow on all shopping pages in one language and the new one loses the menu when viewing products in one of the languages. Maybe that is some advancement, I don’t know but I’m still slogging away at it. I obviously posted too soon! >:( :-[

So feel free to jump in and if you can fix it I’ll give you a big mention in dispatches!! 🙂

Or if anyone can point out how to change the megamenu for one that really works (for me) with multiple languages I’d be really grateful I’m now at the end of my tether and rapidly losing the will to live.
