Hi I am trying to change the code in the gallery and rs slider so that I can stop people from right clicking , then saving the photos. Is there a way to do this?

I am using Joomla 1.5.7 and am using Avian II.

    Thanks in advance!

    Yes there is. But….

The right click is disabled using javascript. If a visitor disables js they can still use right click.

You will need a different script for FF and IE.

A user can still use PrintScreen to grab your images.

In other words… it’s not worth the trouble. If you want to protect your images you are much better off using a watermark on them.

Having said that if you still want to disable right click just do a google search for ‘disable right click’ and to add the script to your site go to Admin>extensions>template manager>ja_avian>edit HTML and add the script immediately before the </head> tag.

There is also a joomla module to do this, it worked well for me and was simple. I believe this is the module i used
