    Hi!

    I do not need the component heading in my template, so how do i remove it?

    You can remove a component by log in admin, click menu Installer and choose Component, you can see a list installed component, you choose your component what you want to remove and click Uninstall Button.

    Uhh.. i think you have get it wrong.. it’s not a component i want to remove, but in the AVIAN II template there is something called componentheading (search the css file and see), but i do not want it at all.. its the heading text for the components on the frontpage.. i want to remove it.. how can this be done?

    Ok, i understand, but i think if you want to remove all component by code, you must edit all component to remove it. I have a idea, you can edit your css


    .componentheading {template_css.css (line 669)
    background:transparent url(../images/dot.gif) repeat-x scroll center bottom;
    color:#CCCCCC;
    display:none;
    font-size:250%;
    margin-bottom:10px;
    padding:0pt 0pt 5px;
    display:none;
    }

    You add red line to your css, all heading text will disappear.
