    Hi,

I do have strange problem/question with pictures in article in Ja Nex template?

Whenever I add two or more pictures in article around content area! I got small slide show on upper left corner of page when I save page and click on view web page. Here is an link how it looks like:
    http://universityofmedina.cloudaccess.net/index.php/all-category/letter-from-the-director

and attached pictures of the issue as well (1. Ja nex.jpg, 2. Ja nex.jpg)/

I simply added two pictures in article in order what I would like to be and Ja nex template automatically turn those pictures into small slide show! Why? And how I can turn off this features? I just need to have pictures in article by order how I placed them into it.

Thank you in advance for your help and time.

    Branko

P.S. I tried to turn off some plug ins but I can’t find it the right one if this is the issue. Also in picture edit tools on JCE I couldn’t find option to turn off this?

You are indeed on the right track. The slideshow is generated by a JA plugin called JA Popup. You can configure this in many ways or disable it depending on your needs.

    Hi Phill,

First off, thank you for your quick replay and for your willing to help.

I just tried to disabled Ja plug in – Ja Popup. I thought that will solve this problem. Somehow is still on. I tried to clean cache and tried to open that page on different browser and it didn’t help. I went over html code and I can’t find popup features on it. Here is a copy of code from this article below.

Let me know what else I should try? or you can login in my admin as well?

<p><span style=”font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica;”>  Sufism (tasawuf) is often described as the inner or mystical dimension of Islam. In its broadest sense, Islam belongs to the first days of humankind, being the foundation of every religion by its own definition of submission. The Sufi Path, therefore, also belongs to the first days of  humankind. It is the spiritual quest found amongst all who wish to relate to the Divine and a greater purpose to this physical and finite existence.</span></p>
<p><span style=”font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica;”>        In the twelfth century, this Muslim devotional movement began forming into orders, or Sufi tariqas.  There are twelve  main tariqas and many branches that have formed. Each tariqa varies in its practices and represents a complete devotional path.  As Sufism spread throughout the world, it adapted and was acculturated with the local cultures. As a result, there are currently many more  manifestations of Sufism than the traditional orders.</span></p>

My Apologies, I type the wrong plugin name above. It is JA Thumbnail that you need to look at. It does a lot more besides so please read the instructions on its operation carefully.

It is the section called “Thumbnail for single article layout” that you should look at. I will also speak to the team to update the details of that to be a little more descriptive.

I had a similar issue using K2. I couldn’t prevent placeholder graphics from being added to articles. I eventually stopped trying to work around it and found if I used the K2 image tab to post the first image in the article it worked best for my purposes anyway.
