    Hi,

I just installed the joomlawatch component and the module. I did not like it and unistalled the module from the module manager simply by trashing. But I was not able to uninstall the component folder item from the components menu. And i get the error, when i visit the ja-ext-manager:

JFolder: :files: Path is not a folder. Path: /home/depremetudu.com/httpdocs/administrator/components/com_joomlawatch/
JFolder: :files: Path is not a folder. Path: /home/depremetudu.com/httpdocs/components/com_joomlawatch/

    please help me,

    regards,

Have you tried removing the respective database tables from within your phpMyAdmin?

So you do not know which database tables are associated with this component? I am quite sure the component’s developer and/or Technical Support could advise you as to how to identify the respective database tables within your phpMyAdmin panel.

In the meantime, can you not simply disable the component and continue on with your website development?

You shouldn’t remove your extensions from Module Manager or Plugin Manager or etc…

The only right way to uninstall an extension (component, module, plugin, template) is Extensions > Extensions Manager and then you can click on tabs (component, module, plugin or template) and you can check boxes to uninstall them and click on Remove button at the right top of the page…

When you remove a module from Module Manager, it doesn’t remove the module completly, it just remove it from the list of modules.

Otherwise you can not uninstall your extensions completly from your site and server…

Now you should go to phpMyadmin and from your database, you can choose tables for your component and remove them, also you can use FTP software to remove folder which belongs to the component (eg: /components/com_joomlawatch).
