Hello,
I’m trying to update the Mero template and some extensions: JA sidenews, JA twitter module, JA slideshow an JA T3V3, all of them appear as available to update. But when I try to do it, appear these messages:
Unknown file type
Upgrade path not foundand
Error updating COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_.
Please, how can set up this?

You can use JA Extension Manager component to upgrade. But you need to check in:

Admin area->Component->JA Extension Manager

and provide account for “JoomlArt Updater Service” (Click on edit link of JoomlArt Updater Service on JAEM, you will see the form to enter your account into) and upgrade them from JAEM, see the screenshot-

April 2, 2014 at 8:01 pm #529270Hi,
Thanks for your prompt reply and please sorry for my delay, suddenly other things required my attention and completely forgot this issue!
I followed your instructions, entered “JA Extension Manager component”, clicked on checkupdate in com_jaextmanager. Then, appears this:
I understand that I have to edit the repository address, by clicking here:
At this point I get lost, because I do not know what I have to insert here.
Can you give me a hint, please?

4) On the left menu go to service manager
5) Click on Joomlart updates edit button on the right
6) Fill in your Joomlart account details ( username and password )
