    There were a lot of changes made from 1.0 so we recommend a full replacement of the template.

    Ok, I was doing some modification… so I really want to know what files I need to change… or just to download JA Social template and paste to my server files at public_html/templates/ja_social?

    You should be able to just change the template. What modifications were you doing? Did you make notes?

    No, just minor modifications at css files mostly. So what to change? Download template only and copy/paste?

    Hm… I was doing copy paste… and ja login was weird… everything (fields) for registration is open when you come to the page…Weird…

    First thing to do is use a tool such as winmerge (google it) to compare the original 1.0 css files and your edits. In just a few seconds you will be able to work out all your edits so now make notes. Then fully upgrade your template and all extensions. Test everything works then re-apply your modifications.
