I’ve had a look through the forums for an answer, but hard as there are so many references to menu’s I may have missed it. My question is:
Are you able to use an alternative menu for the mainnav (very top) menu area with this template? I am using Joomla 1.0.15 and don’t want my Home button to be used in this menu, I would prefer the main men u appear in the left column and use (for example) the other menu in this top area. As it is hard coded and not a module area I am a bit stuck, but I’m sure it is just a few lines of code somewhere to tell the template to use the different menu for this area.

Any ideas? Appreciate all helpful answers 🙂

It seems you have to change the individual menu type file, not the template or anything else. Quite simple once I found that thread
