Hi,

I recently have JA Social 1.7 with the plenty of articles in it. JA Social 2.5 just released and I would like to install a fresh one as I am having difficulties with the JA Extension updater.
How can I use existing database with the new JA Social 2.5 installation?

Hi,

You have to migrate your articles if you want to use a quickstart package to install JA Social 2.5.x, but normally you shouldn’t face any problems installing JA Social after upgrading to J!2.5.x

I was chnaging the hosting company, and want to install clean 2.5 and its already done, thanks.
