To use hot topic is very simple. we use a module called Mod_ja_catslwi. It will display the first image in our article that it’s category has been registered in our catslwi module.
So this module will display only articles in that category we have registered.
Don’t forget to put the image in special folder, in “demo” folder, in image/stories/demo , otherwise the image will not showed up.

I have at some point deleted the news section and hot topic category does anyone know how to get them back…

To get them back is easy Pal !
Go to Menu,choose “menu trash ” you can find your deleted menu there.
or…
Just make another category and register it to your “Hot Topic”

deleted it a long while back… How do i register the category to hot topic is the issue as nothing is showing
