i searched the whole internet and can’t find any help on my problem…
i wanted to use t3 blank template with all the great system functions inside…
then i want to use ja page builder to build my website, but i face problem as attached.

Hi,

I don’t think it’s conflict, pls check the Integration part in documentation of JA Builder: https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/ja-builder#integration

When you use other template (assign a menu item of JA Page Builder to that template style – in this case is T3 Blank template), the header and footer of template will show there, the main part will be the block of Builder which you add.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
Do you mean I have to use t3 blank’s header and footer, and as for builder is to the body content only?
is it feasible if I wanted to use builder to build my header and footer too, instead of using t3 blank’s?

Let me explain a bit more here, there are 2 cases:

1) Header & Footer from T3 template + main content is blocks from JA Builder: To achieve this, you need to:

• Create a menu item or in the existing menu item, change the menu type of that item to JA Page Builder
• Assign template style of that T3 template to this menu item
• In this case, the main content will show the blocks from JA Builder, if you’ve not added any block yet, there is nothing to show. You then can edit the page and add the builder block as you wish.

2) Header & Footer from JA Builder + main content is from T3 template:

• In menu settings, change menu type to the type you wish: single article/category blog page/ etc… or any type from extension you want to show in this page
• Assign JA Builder template style to this menu
• Now the header & footer is from JA Builder, the main content will show the content of menu type you selected.

I do hope this makes senses.

Hello

I have the same doubt than godtrix, only for playing I tried the option 1) and worked

But I had no luck with option 2 (that is what I really I am interested)

2) Header & Footer from JA Builder + main content is from T3 template:

Where do I put Joomla the T3 template it should use for the main content?.

By the way I am trying to see all header, top, bottom and footer from JA Builder and the content using the beautiful layout of blogs from JA Magz II

I too am unable to use JA Builder with any of the templates. It won’t save any pages if I try to use it with any of the templates.

Well, to be precise, it is almost working

I attach an image:
The heading and top sections of JA Builder show well,
but the main content (I specified to be the "Featured Articles" in menú option) appears, but not with the style I got when I had a pure JA Magz II (without JA Builder)

So I guess is a problem of saying somewhere to apply the style of "ja_magz_ii"
(I do not know where, I even tried in the page that is in "JA Builder pages")

I still cannot save any pages for any template except for JA Builder tem0plate if I try to use JA Builder. If I try to use it with any other template, it just sits on Publish forever. And Yes, I cleaned out the caches – many, many times, and I tried different browsers. Still can’t use it with anything but the JA Builder template.

@roger: You can create menu item with type of category blog layout as you wish and assign this menu item to JA Builder template style. It then will show Header + Footer from JA Builder and the main content from menu item you set.

I will have to check with my customer and make sure she is OK with me giving you this information. The last time we gave it to a vendor he left the security off for over 3 days and messed up the site. So our policy has been to NOT give it to any more vendors. Can’t you help without needing this kind of access? I’ve worked in IT for over 35 years and have NEVER had to give someone admin access to anything to get an application fixed. It is ridiculous that all of you Joomla and WordPress vendors think getting this access is OK.
