I tried everything for about 4 continuous hours in doing hit n trial along with all sort of searches on how to use JA Tabs in my template – JaOPAL.
Finally, I found a guide – http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-tabs-userguide/
However, still it did not fix my issue. I want to use the same tab settings as it on default template.
Please help this new member to solve this issue.

August 13, 2010 at 4:50 pm #352636It might be helpful for you to provide some more information to get your issue resolved.
Obviously the easiest way of getting the tabs to look just like opal would be to use the ja opal quickstart package. However, this is not always possible – especially if your pre-existing website cannot be taken offline or you don’t want to lose content in your database etc. with a fresh Joomla install.
So i’m assuming you must have tried to add the ja_opal template as a “skin” to your existing joomla website.
I’m assuming that in 4 hours you must have downloaded the tabs extension that came with ja_opal and that you have tried to configure it as shown in the link you found from the ja_seleni forum.
I’m assuming you’ve got it working – but it doesn’t look like you want it to look? Have you tried the selecting the ja_opal Tab style in the advanced parameters for the ja_tabs module?
Or perhaps your issue is that the tabs aren’t displaying where they should?
Could you provide more information and i’m sure someone will help you.
