Yes, i still have not a clearly understanding with your explain, i but would like to give you the solution! may be it’s the solution you need 🙂

Please access the administrator and go to the Component/Virtualmart menu and go to Products/List Categories menu to access the manage categories page, you choose a category to edit. In the edit form, you set the “Category Browse Page:” parameter to be equal “Managed“.
