Hi

I woudl like to have slightly different themes for Front page and for the other pages. I set up local theme allready and the second too (x-theme and x-theme_front). But I have problems with assigning the default menu (for Home) to the second one. I tried to duplicate default theme (now I have ja_t3_blank – Default and ja_t3_blank – Default (2)) but when I change the local theme over Edit Style (x-theme_front to the Default (2) and x-theme to the Default) every change applies to both Styles (Default and Default (2)).

What should I do?

Hi,
I’m not sure if I completely understand your problem but I give it a try.
As I understand, you want one theme assined to the frontpage, and another one for all the other pages. In order to do this you have to create the different themes (which you already did).
After that, for every theme, you should create a profile. Then, in the section “Theme Settings” in the profile Tab, choose your theme.
After that you can assign the different profiles to the different pages. You do that on the left side of you template backend. There is a section called “Page assignements”. Change the “all page” assingment to the profile you wish to have for the website. Then click on the “add new” line on the bottom. There choose your frontpage. Than assign the front pagre theme to the front page.

That should do it. I hope I was able to help.

Hi,
You have assigned different themes for front page and all other pages respectively.You have to create different profile for each theme,and assign these to respective themes.
