i would like to enlarge or widen the width of the right and left module in portfolio,please how do i go by it???

You can go to Template manager > Layout tab and edit your desired layout: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/604/0879867765.png

There should be:

<blocks name="middle" colwidth="20">
<block name="content-mass-top" style="raw">content-mass-top</block>
<block name="inset1" style="jaxhtml">left</block>
<block name="right1" style="jaxhtml">right</block>
</blocks>
change value in colwidth in percent (%)
