    I’m trying to add an email form to an article.

    This is the code…

    <FORM action="mailto:you@yourdomain.com" method="post" enctype="text/plain">
    <TABLE BORDER="0" CELLSPACING="0" CELLPADDING="4" WIDTH="90%">
    <TR>
    <TD width="30%"><DIV align="right">
    <B>Name:</B>
    </DIV>
    </TD>
    <TD width="70%">
    <INPUT type="text" name="name" size="20">
    </TD>
    </TR>
    <TR>
    <TD><DIV align="right"><B>Email:</B></DIV>
    </TD>
    <TD>
    <INPUT type="text" name="email" size="20">
    </TD>
    </TR>
    <TR>
    <TD><DIV align="right">
    <B>Comment:</B>
    </DIV>
    </TD>
    <TD><TEXTAREA name="comment" cols="30" wrap="virtual" rows="4">
    </TEXTAREA>
    </TD></TR>
    <TR>
    <TD> </TD>
    <TD>
    <INPUT type="submit" name="submit" value="Submit">
    <INPUT type="reset" name="reset" value="Reset">
    </TD></TR>
    </TABLE>
    </FORM>

    I also am trying to add a google earth map, but that doesn’t work either!

    <iframe width="300" height="300" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=23505+Smithtown+Rd,+Excelsior,+MN+55331&sll=39.943436,-92.197266&sspn=24.964383,57.128906&ie=UTF8&ll=44.906894,-93.573732&spn=0.018237,0.025749&z=14&output=embed"></iframe><br /><small><a href="http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=embed&hl=en&geocode=&q=23505+Smithtown+Rd,+Excelsior,+MN+55331&sll=39.943436,-92.197266&sspn=24.964383,57.128906&ie=UTF8&ll=44.906894,-93.573732&spn=0.018237,0.025749&z=14" style="color:#0000FF;text-align:left">View Larger Map</a></small>

    First image is the result of the first code… second one is for the google map code.

    All of that can be achieved with the use of dedicated plugins. There are plenty of googlemap plugins that will do a better job. You just set it up in the back end then add a little token to your article. The same goes for mail.

    A lot of html isn’t allowed in standard joomla articles. If you want more then install the jumi plugin and use that.
