I have read through the tutorial and in section 3.2 (News) the HTML to make the article appear as in the demo is not included in the tutorial.

Please tell me how to recreate the featured article. Currently no featured article will display and I suspect an HTML issue.

When you installed your template, did you do so utilizing the quickstart+sample data process?

If not, might I suggest reading through THIS ARTICLE for further insight/benefit?

Otherwise, another method you could employ – to cross-check your own settings/configurations with those of the demo – would be to use JA’s DEMO BUILDER as a cross-reference/learning tool.
