I create a new article and even if I use no HTML editor or an editor – the alignment, line spacing etc disappears once I click apply to the article! It completely ignores any of my formatting although it looks great when typing as soon as I hit apply it removes formatting and brings everything together into one paragraph.

I do however have other articles in the same site which do not have this problem – but I have even copied and pasted another article which works perfectly into a new article and again as soon as I apply the formatting it all just comes together into one paragraph instead of several.

Hi jamiemoses!
The fact you are copying and pasting caught my attention.
Are you copying and pasting from Word by chance? Word is no good and should be avoided. the best way is to use Notepad to paste info into and then you may copy that and paste into your article.
