So, after installing the JA Teline IV qucikstart i got the error that’s in the topic title. After changing template error is gone…

Got PHP 5.3.3 and newest Apache/MySQL.

I had the same problem when i installed the 1.6 version.
Try the 1.5 version and it will work.
I have tried to install other quickstarts 1.6 and had no problems, just a problem with the teline 1.6

Hi pilarski_daniel ,

Can you please provide your site url and admin details at http://support.joomlart.com/index.php?/Tickets/Ticket/View/76253 and tell me if you can see the error only after setting JA teline IV as a default template and it goes away when default template is changed.

Fyi, I have used JA Teline IV for joomla 1.5 as well as joomla 1.6 but havent come across the 500 error, so will need to check it on your site.
