July 9, 2009 at 4:11 am #310445Looks Good. You may wish to change the favicon, currently it’s the JA one that comes with the quickstart!

July 10, 2009 at 6:42 am #310558Site look nice, but on a personal note I would like to see more images and less google adds, also I would lose those date tags…..like I say just personal touches 😉

July 18, 2009 at 7:08 pm #311455Thank you for your feedback – we agree! Do you know how to get rid of the dates by chance? I’ve been searching and searching and can’t figure it out … it’s probably staring me right in the face but I can’t find it!

July 19, 2009 at 10:18 pm #311556Nice site, looks good, the red is a rude color in your site, so it fits nice! 😀 Though I have one comment.

0 CommentsIn the article listing looks like they belong to the next article in the list, because of the dashed line which is above it. I would expect it beneath it. But hey, that’s a minor detail.. 🙂

July 19, 2009 at 11:05 pm #311564This is one of my favorite templates. Love the idea and the site is shaping up nicely. Do you think there’s too much red? I do. Try eliminating the date the articles were posted and when they were updated. This much red is rude but you do not wish the rudeness in the site’s appearance to turn people off that they don’t stick around, do you? Just my thinking. Good job overall!
All the best!

July 30, 2009 at 10:29 am #312678It’s amazing how “rude” can be funny, at least afterwards and especially if it was not directed at you. I like the site and the contrast in colors. A few pictures or cartoons here and there would liven the site a bit and couel even add to the stories.

October 12, 2009 at 10:06 pm #320305Loaded quickly — flows well. I would change the favicon — everyone seems to forget that lol.

just in case anyone wonders.
the site is using a non-ja template – biggie smalls i believe.
early-april ’10:)
April 7, 2010 at 7:37 pm #339514I changed the site to biggie smalls a month or two ago. Pyrite was beautiful but I could never really get it to work properly. Navigation at top would break, for example; it would work differently on firefox vs IE, when one looked right, the other was broken. I had frequent problems logging in to these forums when I tried to get help here (having to reset my password over and over, sometimes being told it was invalid during the same session). Also, there weren’t that many people in the Pyrite forum, so I think that made it harder to get some help.
I loved Pyrite’s look so I chose biggie smalls partly because it looked a bit like Pyrite! It’s a lot more basic, though, which probably is better for a non-programmer like me. With a labor-of-love type site like HRIT, I had to find something I could handle myself more easily 🙁
Thank you all for checking the site out — I appreciate it so much! — and good luck to all of you with your own sites.
