I need to add a hyperlink to the thumbnail of the slideshow or at the very least when people click on the main slideshow image to be redirected to the corresponding page…..otherwise the slideshow is just a pretty picture and has no benefit to it.

I have tried using “readmore” but the description goes over the slideshow image hence I can’t use that option. Is there a work around people are using?

For work around; in module manager – stage setting try mark height 100 or less to only show readmore and not desc text.
