Hello Joomlart World!
I dont know if i’m posting my question in the right place, sorry if i’m being wrong. But i’ve google all over the place and still not find an answer to my problem. And here in Joomlart discussion forum i think many user who have many experience in using joomla, especially the joomlart support team. 🙂 .. so, please let me ask my problemFirst, i dont quite sure where this problem come from, is it from the Joomlart Template, T3 Framework, or from the Joomla CMS itself. The problem have arise just about 2 days ago.
here is my site http://goo.gl/adAFGg
sorry for the shorted url, i just dont want the site name come up in google searchthe problem is…. i’ve created new category and a menu to the category, and put an article into this category. After that i created new JA Slider module an put in the position as the screen below
when i click to the article in the JA Slider. the article not show up in category page/ category menu, instead the arcticle is showing at the bottom the homepage (in the same page), please try at link above and make click to article in JA Slide Module
one thing that i noticed, that url link to my article in JA Content Clide is showing category id. This category id not showed in other article url. (so this category id just showing in recently created categories and menu)
here is the correct url picture
i dont know what have caused this.. but this really bothering me. and i still have big cloud in my mind, and dont know how to solve this problem.
Hopefully expert here can answer my problem, even if the problem not come from the joomla templates or t3 framework….. :((

March 4, 2014 at 10:36 am #525264In Joomla, if you want to view article individually, that article must be assigned to a menu item.
Pls create a new menu item (or use an existing one) and assign article (or category that article belongs to) to this new menu item and also make sure that you don’t assign any module to this menu item.

thanks for replying ninja. Yes i do know about that basic joomla (item id and category id related to article), and i did assign category to the menu i’ve created… if i click direct to the menu.. all the item category related to the menu which i’ve assigned show perfectly.. but in this case… the url link to the article (inside JA Slider in front/home page) show that the url have an category id which i dont find it in other url article. I noticed that url that have category id, is just from the menu which i created recently, and this dont happen to the menu that i created long ago. Something that i do noticed that this problem might occur after i’ve installed K2 plugin, so maybe that was a bug in joomla.
because if i created the article under K2 category, and put the K2 category into JA Slider Module, the urls to the article works perfect! and not a single problem occur! :((Ninja Lead ModeratorNinja Lead

Thanks ninja, but it seem the problem come from the joomla itself, and as your suggestion about menu item, so i created another menu called hidden, so beside main menu i’ve created another menu called hidden with same content as main menu, and assigned category to that hidden menu. Now, the problem seem to be solved, but i dont know if the problem will come again. Thanks Again Ninja. 🙂
