Hi,
I need a plugin for comments, but i can’t pay for the JA Comment.
So i found this free plugin: http://www.joomshaper.com/joomla/free-extensions/sp-comments

But when i try install him appears this mensage:

“JFTP::login: Unable to login
Looks like User’s credentials are no good…
Warning: Failed to move file!”

What i have to do?

Can you outline the steps you are taking to install the plugin?

Also, can you provide a link to the plugin’s info page? (i.e. where you found it)

Sorry, but I do not understand this question. Anyway, i found this link in Google.

My steps in installation process:
Login in Administrator Panel > Access Extension Manager > I provide my user name and password (i’m Super User) > In Upload Package File i choose the file for my computer and click in Upload & Install.

Just this. And the Error appears.

And I’m sorry for my bad English, I am Brazilian:)

Hi
You are using FTP layer mode ( Enabled )
But your credentials is not valid. And that’s installer can’t install extension ( plugin in this case ).
Please update your FTP layer with valid credentials.

Or if you don’t really need. You can turn of it.

How i update my FTP layer with valid credentials?
And what are these credentials?

I really need the FTP layer enabled, or a big bug appears in other module.

I talked with the help central of my Server Hosting and the guy did everything he could (changed permissions, checked the server configuration, etc. …) but the problem persist.

I changed the way to install (no more Upload Package File, i used install From Directory) and the other error appears:

All permissions have been given, but the error continues.

I’m sorry my hurry, but i really need resolve this problem, I have to launch this site before the end of the month.

I do not know if this is good or bad, but other Error appeared. Before the error is “Failed to create directory”, so i tried to manually create the directory and this error appears:

Yes, i tried copy manually, i set ALL the permissions as 777 and i really don’t know what to do ):
