When install a plugin from the Extensions manager give me this error:

JFolder::create: No se pudo crear el directorio
Plugin Instalar: Falló creando el directorio: /home/escuelaq/public_html/plugins/content/sharethis

The problem is that in the path ‘/home/escuelaq/public_html/plugins/content/’ can’t create folders.
I tried changing the folder permissions to 777 from filezilla but will not let me.

Can you give me a solution?

This is a server configuration you must ask to your hosting provider and also you can ask them the better configuration for a joomla site on their server
