Hello,
I get problem when translate Slideshow modul in my multilingual-site. I can open the modul but cannot save and close it.
I am running joomla 2.5.14. Why such a strange problem! I have a look there isn’t “mod_jaslidshow” in Joomla Administration. Is it the reason? When I open FaLang to translate Slideshow content in the beggining there is something written in red colour: “K2 component is not installed!”. Is it another reason?

Help me please…

Hi Yohanes,

If your slideshow cannot be saved, it often due to the permission in file/folder in your site. The text in red colour appears because this slideshow has option to retrieve content from K2 and it inform that K2 is not installed.

Many thanks for the reply.

Permissions in folder:
Module is set in 755.
Module/mod_jaslideshow is set in 755. All its subfolder is set in 755 as well. Files Permissions: 644.

The Diretory Permission in System Infofrmation in Back-End (Joomla Administration) is all set as “writable”, excepte “configuration.php”.

Concerning to K2 component have I to install it?

I took a look then at “administrator/modules” in Joomla Folders and I did not see mod_jaslidshow. It may cause the problem?
If not so where is the problem: in FaLang component? But the problem just in jaslideshow (Ja Slideshow and Gallery).

If you use editor like Firebug in Firefox, when you click save button, you can see Error tab of Firebug whether there is any error or not, if yes, you will know where error comes from.

You can also send me url, admin and ftp account of your site, I will check it for you.

In JA Slideshow Profile Setting I saw two comands: clone and delete. The clone icon is fine, but clone word is blur mixed up with small triangle icon.

As helper.php is mentioned I downloaded this file from public_html/modules/mod_jaslideshow/admin.
I put it as an attachment (helper.rar)

In case I need to send you which email address I can use.
