    You cannot see on the demo because the top panel module is published in the Explore menu item, Top panel submenu item go there and you will see the top bar in action

    Please read this guide on how to configure the template.

    Hi ,

    I did read the guide many times, but I can not find the info I need.

    I want the toppanel tab (and the quickcontact) to be always visible and accessible, not only after clicking the explore menu.

    How can I achieve that?

    This is not explained in the guide.

    Thanks!!

    Hi

    You can edit the JA Top Panel Module that now is published only on the TopPanel page and publish it in the page you prefer

    Thanks,

    I managed to publish it on all pages. Thanks!
    But the color of the module is now changed to white instead of brown, and there is a white bar at the top?
    how can I correct that?

    How can I change the title of the tab?
    How can I change the position of the tab?

    see http://www.cyrescenter.com

    Thanks!!

    Is this file /modules/mod_jatoppanel/assets/style.css modified ?

    Anyway you can overwrite it with the original one taken from the quickstart package zip file

    <blockquote>How can I change the title of the tab?</blockquote>

    Goto this file languageen-GBen-GB.mod_jatoppanel.ini

    TOP_PANEL=”Top Panel” <——-change this

    <blockquote>How can I change the position of the tab?</blockquote>

    In this file /modules/mod_jatoppanel/assets/style.css

    .ja-toppanel-button-wraper .left .ja-toppanel-button {
    background: url("images/button-mid.png") repeat-x scroll 0 0 transparent;
    color: #FFFFFF;
    float: left;<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<remove this
    font-size: 85%;
    height: 23px;
    line-height: 20px;
    overflow: hidden;
    text-align: center;
    width: 72px;
    }

    add at the end a margin-left with negative value ex margin-left: -400px;

    No, it is not modified. I copied the file from the quickstart package, but this does not solve the issue.

    see http://www.cyrescenter.com
    I sent you the ftp and login details

    <blockquote>Goto this file languageen-GBen-GB.mod_jatoppanel.ini

    Do I need to change this for every language I use?

    feature request: edit the title of the top panel directly in the module settings, instead of the ini files

    thanks!!

    Sorry Cyres

    But all the info posted above are correct ( i have tested on my localhost before posting here )

    So would be better that you make all the changes on your site.

    <blockquote>feature request: edit the title of the top panel directly in the module settings, instead of the ini files</blockquote>

    Sorry again but this is impossible you need to modify the ini file

    We can’t touch the customers file to make customizations

    I did not touch the style.css file. But to be sure I copied over the original file from the quickstart package but the problem remains…
    any help is more than appreciated 😉

    I think you misunderstood me here.
    I already changed the name of the top panel tab, as you indicated and it works fine.
    The “feature request” is just a suggestion to make this module better (you may consider this when you bring out a new version of this module, or not)
    It is not a request for support. 😉

    Thanks!!
