Hello,

I have download the quick install of the JA puresite. Now I want to change the layout. add some position at the top etc.
I looked some tutorials. There I see that you can change the layout.

But how can change the layout of the JA puresite?
The plugin T3 is published/activated!

I read in another post of 2010 that you can switch to development mode? I think that’s under global. But than still can’t change the template with positions etc.)

And can you change then a compiled template like puresite?

I’m looking at downloads now and what is the difference between T3 Framework and JA T3 Framework? Do I need both to get working or is one enough?

Dear Nico,

JA Puresite template is built with JAT3 framework, not the new T3 framework. Hence, if you want to use this template, you can simple install JAT3 framework and disable/unpublish T3 framework.

Ok, that is nice to know. Why it is not included in the quick install installation? There is only the T3 plugin not the JA T3 plugin.

But I still haven’t found how to add some positions at the top.
Do I have to made some code changes in the layout? I have made clone of the default and there I see <block> …. Do have to add there some code?

What is a good start tutorial otherwise I’m gonna try the Gantry framework. I like the pureSite template but if there is not a good tutorial then I wll leave this path.

Here I see a tutorial video what I mean but these about T3V3 framework. Do I need that?

In download package of this JA Puresite template, you can easily see that it has JAT3 framework plugin only, not new T3 framework. And when installing quickstart package, the JAT3 one will be installed.
