I swear I’ll never understand the .css templates. Every time I ask for help to adjust something – I get a great friendly reply and that solves my problem…for that issue. Seems like each time though, it’s always a different .css file to make similar changes. I want to change the span8 and/or ja-mainnav because I’m just using it to hold a logo. It’s too wide. Not to mention it shows up on the mobile phone. Accordingly, I want to change span 2 to take up more space. I’ve gone through a number of .css files but no results. I clean the JA3 Cache every time – reload the page, clear the cache of my browser, etc…
    Help…

Nevermind – is it safe to assume if you use other themes than the default – that using the joomla editor is useless to change settings in the .css?

I don’t even know what this is – but I can’t get it to go black to save my soul. It only looks like this in IE – Chrome and FireFox show a black background but in IE it’s White.

I have checked the problem on your site and found this problem from user-2 position.
    from

    <center><span style="background-color: #000000">.<img src="images/blacktie.gif" border="0" alt="Black Tie Catering and Bar Tending" />.</span></center>
    change to

    <center><img src="images/blacktie.gif" border="0" alt="Black Tie Catering and Bar Tending" /></center>

I fixed it on your site again. Let know me if it helps.

Sigh…OK, well, all you did was put it back the way I had the user-2 position originally. What you saw with the (.) period’s and background-color was some various fixes I had been attempting while waiting for you guys to come back to work over your holiday weekend. 🙂 I must have corrected the problem in one of the css files but missed that I corrected it because of the periods and incorrect code in the user-2 position. But it’s fixed now! Yay! Thanks. Just wish I knew what really did the trick.
