I had some issues where I could not get it to work mod_janews_fp so I deleted both the news modules and have tried to re-install them…Says they are already installed.

I have went to server/modules and no mod files of the news in there. I also have gone to myphpadmin and only see the following news

jos_janews_sections
jos_janews_sections

So what do I need to do so I can re-install these?

I notice in the past sometimes parts of the delete of modules or components etc remain on server and you need to manually remove.

Not the case this time.

You need to go into your directory

Directory: ../modules/

find anything with the name of the module you are trying to re-install and delete it…
if it say parts are already installed when you retry simply go and take another look…I find there is always something I’ve missed.

Well, I restarted my ftp twice and still did not show in route of the modules folder. So I rebooted and went for lunch and coffee.

When I got back and went back to work I then seen it.

So, problems where

Computer?
Needed Food?
Needed Coffee?

Anyhow I am working, feed and have had my coffee. :p
