Hello to all, I apologize for my shaky English:((

    On this article
    http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/new-to-ja-purity/
it is said that the choice color module are included in the characteristics of parameters but I do not find it in my version of the template distributed with Joomla! 1.5.8

Also point out that the menu of the second level menu in position hornav not appear blue or green when we select them in the parameters of the template.

    Thank you for your attention

Hi hainn84 and thank you for your reply.

I overwrite my file with your file templateDetails.xml

Unfortunately, the parameters concerning the color of the right modules do not appear.

Also point out that the menu of the second level menu in position hornav not appear blue or green when we select them in the parameters of the template.

    Hi tonicopi,

Have you had a look at the Joomla forum, there is a problem introduced during with 1.5.7 and it has not been fixed yet. One of the people in the forum fixed it manually and posted to this forum: http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=541&t=324883&start=0 the solution.

Let me know if that helps you.

Hi jaway tanks you for your indication:)

I understand that still the error introduced with the version of Joomla! 1.5.7 has not been resolved even with the version 1.5.8.
    I am very surprised! 😮

joomlart è famosa per la qualità e affidabilità dei suoi tempate: how is it that gives this bad image of itself?:((

    Hi tonicopi,

I believe it is not Joomlart that is maintaining JA_PURITY these days, it is part of the Joomla project and managed by the Joomla foundation. Having backtracked through their defect tracking mechanism I realised that they have a few people that don’t know what they are doing and accepting to pop other people’s code in without checking what it is doing.

In the short term though, I went ahead and updated mine to 1.5.8 and loaded the files offered from the forum poster. It essentially fixed the colour problem (also some other Javascript errors I was experiencing). I only had to make minor modifications to the template to meet my personal tastes 🙂

    I wish you luck…
