June 1, 2008 at 12:21 pm #129158Dear All,
Only one template I have suscribed to JA Club. And Now I cannot find the proper way to use it.
I have installed it and foolowed the user guide but couldn’t get the same result as in the demo. And things are not working properly. It just seemed that some vital instructions are missing for amateurs.
I must admit I am NOT familiar with web design and this stuff. I am just trying to read what is written and use common sense and try to get to the bottom of things.
But this Installation/Configuration of Telline 2 is not easy for me.
I have installed it and followed carefully the user-guide and I have been able to get the same output.
I need some help to install it properly. I am wondering if JA Staff can assist in this.
Thank you for all your assistance.

I agree with grataweb,
Install the quickstart first of all. Then take it from there.
Remember Teline is not just a simple template and the modules has a lot of config you can work with.
Try to be a little bit more specific of your problem and take them 1 by 1 or at least a few related ones in a post.

If you look at the member’s page, Joomlart will install the JA Teline II for you, for a fee of $40.
However, I agree with the advise of the others here. If you are serious as a webmaster, it is best if you learn how to install a Joomla page. If indeed this is your website, you already know how to do that. I was at that stage once. It took me “forever” to understand how to superimpose the installation of a Joomlart template also with the Joomla.
As suggested by others, you should try to install the Joomla and the complete JA Teline II, at the same time — not separately. In fact, the nice staff of Joomlart has made it possible for you with what others called the “JA Teline II QuickStart” kit — which includes the complete Joomla and the JA Teline (templates, modules, etc., etc.) — everything you need to get the exact Demo.
What is even more encouraging to know is that if you know how to install the Joomla software using what Joomla calls the “Easy Browser-based Installation”, you will be guaranteed to install the QuickStart JA Teline II (+Joomla) kit. It uses the same procedure.

Magazine menu doesn’t show up

I encountered similar a problem
provides the link to the “Easy Browser-based Installation of Joomla” as well as what you needed to install the QuickStart JA Teline II (+Joomla) kit, including some potential pitfalls that may cause problems.
