Almost… your suggestion…

<block name="content-bottom" type="spotlight">user12,user13,user14</block>

Works BELOW frontpage articles.

I want the same, but ABOVE frontpage articles. In fact, I want btween user1,user2,user AND frontpage articles.

Any other ideas?
