The links on the homepage for students highlights is linked via the menu item /pages/bonus-page/students-page/. If this menu does not exist then the student details pages] in not linked to. The module is at position usr13, for some reason I cannot see where the module is linked to the menu item.

I basically want to remove the pages menu, that’s the reason why I am asking, I also need to set up something else similar so I need to understand this linkage.

Hi dinopatel,

That’s JA Contentslider module and as you can see backend settings in user guide of this template (section 4. JA Contenslider Module). This module will retrieve articles from category named Student highlights. Hence, each student page as you see in demo site is actually an Joomla article.

This article (or category this article belongs to) must be assigned to a menu item so that when you click to open, it will open details article page (here is user page). This is default behavior of Joomla.

P/s: if you don’t want to assign these articles to a menu item in main menu shown in frontend, you can create a new menu > create its new menu item and assign articles to it.
