I think in the further releases we need an optimization manual beside the templates. Because when I disable a module, its codes still exists in CSS and I think deleting these unnecessary codes will help us more than only removing the empty lines! Therefore, Joomlart can prepare a manuel which will have a list of all the modules and corresponding codes to be removed if we disable it!

Thank you..</blockquote>Looks like a good idea, but even you as a developer, would see that it’s impossible to do that so far. It’s hard to know what codes to be deleted when its module be disabled, and it’s harder to know how to restore those codes when its module be enabled. But we have been still trying to find out better solutions to have the best optimizations.
September 9, 2010 at 2:39 pm #355052I think users should get the responsibility before deciding to remove a code, and this is what we are doing right now. Joomlart uses same or similar modules in all its templates, and this manuel should only include these Joomlart modules. Actually this is not so difficult, only the module name and corresponding CSS code to be removed if you decide not to use that module. This is a reversable process. If you decide to use the module, you can add the code again.
I can’t write a code, but I am good at pasting and deleting :))) Such a manuel would be useful to beginers.

Thank you</blockquote>Hi,
If we have that function, uses still must handle a lot when deciding to disable or enable a module, and this will become very tricky because most of users are not familiar with codes. -
