January 19, 2011 at 2:49 am #372561Go to Plugin manager, find and disable JA Thumbnail plugin (Thumbnail for Joomla content)
Or you can read the short description of the plugin to learn more how to use it the right way:
<blockquote>This plugin is used to generate Auto Thumbnail in Joomla Articles. This must be properly configured to make the best use out of it. Below are important note.
In the ‘ Integration Mode ‘ on the parameter list on the right:
* ”Auto” mode: All joomla article will have this feature enable. To turn off plugin for specific article, use the {jathumbnail off} in that article.
* ”Manual” mode: You must you [jathumbnail] somewhere in the joomla content to enable this plugin for that article.
* ”Disable” mode: Disable the Thumbnail generation (DO NOT use the Disable feature of Joomla if you have used the tag {jathumbnail} or {jathumbnail off} already. It will be parsed as normal text. The Manual mode is recommended for site with less images, the Auto mode is for site with massive volumn of images
Note: Allow off some specified images for an article
we use tag:
{jathumbnail off images=”images/stories/demo/world/rs-3.jpg,images/stories/demo/world/rs-2.jpg”} </blockquote>

February 9, 2011 at 10:47 pm #375927Don… what is the best JA Thumbnail Plugin option for a website (online magazine/blog) containing a large number of images that uses the JA-Bulletin Module, JA-Newspro Module, and JA FrontPageNews Module? I’d like to avoid entering code for every article, but I do NOT want all images to be resized in the full versions of all my articles.
Currently, I’m only able to get the module parameters option “using image source” to work properly (however, the image isn’t scaled down with ratio and doesn’t look good).
I’d like to use one of the other options (“using resize” or “using crop”) but everytime I try this (in all 3 of the modules listed above) I get an error. If this is a permissions issue, what is the exact path for the directory or files that I need to change?
I’ve read every forum thread for Teline IV containing the word “thumbnail” and still haven’t found my answer. Your help is GREATLY appreciated!!!
Thx

its hard to say what is the best, it depends on what you want your site to be. If you want some images to be off, use this:
<blockquote>Note: Allow off some specified images for an articlewe use tag:
{jathumbnail off images=”images/stories/demo/world/rs-3.jpg,images/stories/demo/world/rs-2.jpg”}</blockquote>
<blockquote>I’d like to use one of the other options (“using resize” or “using crop”) but everytime I try this (in all 3 of the modules listed above) I get an error. If this is a permissions issue, what is the exact path for the directory or files that I need to change?
</blockquote>
cound you post the screenshot of the error? -
