I am using the JA Iolite template for a site
But I really like the style of the news on the homepage of the Ja Uvite template: http://www.joomlart.com/templates_demo.php?template=ja_uvite
How can I, or what do I have to do to get this style of news on my site? what files do I need? as ja-news is not enough on its own? I tried to use the css files from the Ja Uvite template, but hit the ground with a thud!
Any ideas?
November 19, 2009 at 9:19 am #324236I managed to get ja news and frontpage working, but have some problems…
I am using the JA Iolite template and have added the ja news and frontpage modules, but for some reason in internet explorer things don’t show correctly.
The frontpage module is not showing the first part of the text?
Why?

November 20, 2009 at 7:40 am #324349Hi lush
You should upgrade mootools.js file (http://www.lushdesign.biz/rokbox/mootools-release-1.11.js) and check your website again.
November 24, 2009 at 12:41 pm #324794What does the mootools in rokbox have to do with the ja news front page module?
The rokbox is a something I added later and the first line of text was missing from the ja news front page module in IE before this.
If I do upgrate to mootools 1.2.4 the front page news fails to work?
Any ideas?

November 26, 2009 at 4:40 am #325030Hi lush
I think your upgrade will fix this issue and does not effect to others.
Please kindly try to do it again. if you have any issue, please let me know for checking
November 26, 2009 at 9:21 am #325042The upgrade to mootools stopped it working all together!
In the end I just added float: left to the ja.news.fp.css under the following:
#jahl-newsitem img {
margin: 2px 20px 0px 0;
float: left;
}That fixed the issue I had
Thanks
