I want to change the directory images/stories/ gallery of module jahighslide to gpc/galeria. Someone who knows how is this done?

Go to Admin Backend>Extensions>Plugin Manager>Highslide for Joomla 1.5 and set directory for “Path Thumbnail Image” to gpc/galeria/

You will still need to list the image names in the module!

Hello Scotty,
I have another question about Highslide.
Click here: http://www.casasycosas.com.es/
You can see a module that shows images.
Now click on the menu “Promociones”
OnMouseMove above the large image. I want to change this process. If I move the mouse or click over this image I want to use the type module teaching module on the previous page, but does not work for me.

In the thumbnails I use the Highslide ja_highslide independent of the module.
I hope it is explained well. my English is not good.

Not sure I understand the question. You want to scroll over the thumbnails and they appear in the big pic? This is not possible with highslide although you could do it with regular HTML.

Forget the thumbnails.

I want to use the type “Module” of Highslide.

As use the following fields?

Advanced Parameters:
1 .- Caption text: the big picture
2 .- First content:? (I put it?)
3 .- Highslide Content:? (I put it?)
4 .- Last content:? (I put it?)

Using type ‘Module’ is like using a customHTML module with a highslide link within it. Eg…

We have a large selection of Houses for sale in the London area. Please see our current listings for details.

Would be…

2 .- First content: We have a large selection of Houses in the
3 .- Highslide Content: London
4 .- Last content: area. Please see our current listings for details.

In this example the high slide content would appear when the word London is clicked. the content would be whatever module you selected in the parmeters (basic) settings.

Scotty, I don’t understand your example. Are you talking about using the plugin? I think your example – at least for me – could be turned into a tutorial. Because there’s a whole lot in the assumptions of what you’re not saying. Talk it out, man. Let’s hear some of those assumptions. You can do it! 🙂
