    Hi,
    I’ve just seen now and this existed in earlier versions too (I am using purity_iii and the latest plugin)
    the icon coq is not visible only the caret (and like that you can overview.
    If this is wanted, then ok. But I think, you don’t want that.

    If you don`t wanna show it
    do this
    open template manager/JA PurityIII/css/custom.css
    and add this css code

    article aside .btn-group > .dropdown-toggle .caret {
    display: none;

    Clear cache and check .

    If there is on custom.css file in css folder create a file named custom.css

    Thank you for your answer, but you didn’t understand my problem.
    you only see the caret, but in the css I see the icon coq too! It seems the icon coq can not be loaded for some reasons

    Ah, well, then I have only to say:
    Beneath this one, I never encountered other problems in J2.5 with purity_iii.

    I suggest you to use Joomla3.3 ,
    template can create any problem with joomla2.5.x at any time , and after that its really hard to detect the issues ,as its not compatible with J2.5.x
