Icon disappearing in mega menu

    Hello

    I’m using JA Brisk on Joomla 3.4. I have an issue with menu icons. Some of the icons disappear after selecting a menu item. (See samariter-OSV.ch)
    Normally there is the home icon. I added all the icons to public, registered and special in mega menu.

    Open the menu “Verband” there are different icons. For example the camera in front of “Fotos”.

    Click on “Impressum” and reopen the “Verband” menu. The icons have gone.

    Can you advice?

    Did you tried to compile less to css again ?

    P.S.

    First to compile less to css take a backup of your customized css files if you have , otherwise all customizations will be loosed.

    Yes I did, just redid again to make sure. Doesn’t help.

    As mentioned in the PM, here the pictures.
    When I started out I made two new styles out of JA Brisk called OSV2015 home and default. I have been changing megamenu settings in these two styles and not in JA-Brisk. Could this be a problem?

    Could it be a problem that I added the fa-fw? The home icon is the only one where I haven’t done this and that one seems to work always,

    Hi

    You should be able to edit your MEGAMENU from template manager and then add the font-awesome icons there , for what i was able to see from your website admin user is not able to edit MEGAMENU settings for your 2 new layout styles so your problem is there.

    Where did you see that? I designed the whole menu via the template manager from Joomlart. Then megamenu.
    As you can see in the last picture above that I entered the icon where it is supposed to go.
    So I don’t get your point. Could you make it clearer?

    The user you are using has all permissions there are I think, super user and also special access.

    I saw that the access user for the Joomlart Updater was not configured. It is now.

    Another question, do I need to have the t3 blank and the t3 bs3 blank to use the t3 framework or can I deinstall those?

    You can use only JA Brisk template other templates are not needed

    P.S.

    If you want that we all will help you with your website please remove restritions from it , i saw other your threads with my collegues with same problem , it is impossible to work on it in this way

    Sorry about the inconvenience. I’m running the Akeeba Admin Tool with standard parameters, but I think I found it now. It doesn’t like the template word in the URL. I now added this to the exception list and turned all the template stuff off. At least I think so.

    Could you please check if it works now? It’s difficult to find out. About the screen shot you sent. When I log in with that very same user it all look ok for me. Could you please have a quick look if you still have that problem?

    Still the same problem, the icon disappears as soon as I’m not on the home style of the template anymore. Also returning to the home style makes all the icons reappear again. Looking at the megamenu configuration in either the home or the default style shows the icons.
    The default style is a copy of the home style.

    Unfortunately not. Take the screen shot you attached to your last answer. Then click on the menu item called “Wer Sind wir?” Then open the menu item “Verband” again. Suddenly all icons have disappeared.

    I hope you can reproduce that. Please let me know.

    I checked on your site and saw font-awesome only loads on Home and not other pages but I helped you to fix it on your site

    Open templates/ja_brisk/tpls/blocks/head.php file and add script

    <link rel="stylesheet" href="//maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.3.0/css/font-awesome.min.css">
