I had a look. No idea yet I’m afraid. In IE7 and Firefox it is all good. Could be a IE6 box problem, but I haven’t figured it out yet. And the fact that I don’t have the pesky IE6 anymore (Thank God) and need to use IE rendering doesn’t help. Maybe someone else on the forum can help you out.
You could try a different doc type:

    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">

    instead of

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

But normally Joomlart templates are IE 6 proof and don’t require this change…

YOu need to add overfow: hidden; to #ja-sroll-1 OR add class=”clearfix” to the ja-scroll div.

i tried changing the doc type in the index.php but didnt’ change

then tried adding this line to the template.css
overfow: hidden; to #ja-sroll-1 apparently didn’t change anything

OR add class=”clearfix” to the ja-scroll div. I don t know where this is?

Sorry to hear it is not working yet. Try adding class=”clearfix to the ja-scroll div as Scotty suggested. The ja-scroll div you will find on the index.php of your theme.
