I’m having a similar problem in IE6, gray background covering header and main nav, and the header is aligning partially to the left of the main nav. Also the background footer image (cw-bg.jpg) wont sit at the bottom of the page. Displays fine in Firefox. I’m presuming (hoping) there’s a straightforward hack for this.

IE 6 cannot handle certain transpancies in images with the png extension and somne gif files also.

try adding a new updated image to the top with a white background and of the file extension jpg just as a test to see if that fixes it.

There are several IE6 PNG Fix plugins out there, hasn’t JA also one included already? Otherwise you can download one free one from Yootheme and also in the JED are some listed I think… The one I use is from Yootheme at http://www.yootheme.com With those all types of gifs and PNGs that IE6 can’t handle by default should be displayed correctly in IE6.

In IE 6 my .png logo is not showing up. It does in all the other browsers. I installed the plugin Ultimate PNG Fix for Joomla 1.5 and enabled it in the plugin extensions folder. But this didn’t help. Do I need to modify anything else?
