    The header in this template doesn’t display well in IE8. Take a look at your demo. Could you please provide a fix for this?

    temporary fix is the IE8 compatibility plugin

    Can’t you just use <meta http-equiv=”X-UA-Compatible” content=”IE=EmulateIE7″ /> in the head tag instead of installing a plugin or is there more to the plugin?

    The META tag has worked fine for me. I can’t see a need for a plug-in. If we have Joomla admins who can’t add a simple line to the template index, we’re all doomed!

    I agree, you do not need the plugin, but I’ve been around this forum for a long time and yes, there are people who cannot add a simple tag to the template

    Just to clarify, I didn’t have you in mind when making my comment.

    But yeah, a brief look at the joomla.org security forum says it all as to the kinds of people running sites.
