Hi Team..
Please look at this link : http://www.dojoomla.net/demo1/index.php?option=com_alberghi&func=detail&Itemid=2&id=1
You can switch to English if you need… With IE on the bottom of the template ther are three tabs “Details” “Services” and “Contacts”
1) This part of the component has to bee inside the mainbody with the spica template this tabs are under the left column… it goes out of the mainbody space…
2) If you clic on “Contacts” or “Services” the content goes over the Footer….
With Firefox (1.5.0.6) the tabs are on the top and goes out of the templatespace….
To see how the component has to be please look at another demo with another template…
http://alberghi.joomlaitalia.com/index.php?option=com_alberghi&Itemid=28&task=detail&id=6
Please tell me what to do… The same problem is going on with teh Hadar template….
Thanks for your help.

September 12, 2006 at 12:03 am #210466Yes,
I’m having the exact same problem with some of my componetns and modules. Community Builder will hide under the footer (user 3) and so will any component/module for submitting content. For example, if a user tries to submit news, the dates for publishing the content will appear underneath the footer (and hidden from view). In short, I’m having the exact same problem as martinb1. Please look at his website.
I really like this template and I want to make it work. Thank you for everything.antoniu1 Friendantoniu1

September 14, 2006 at 9:02 pm #210510Hi Guys,
This seems to be a community builder problem, not a ja_spica one. I have really tested this template and this problem doesn’t appear at all, so perhaps you should contact the Community Builder’s support?

September 14, 2006 at 9:59 pm #210511Actually, no, it is much more than a community builder problem. It also happens when users submit news (a core joomla function), particuarly when they try to click on the calendar in the “publishing” tab.
I also find it hard to believe that CB works in all other templates that I’ve used (so does the joomla calendar). Something is strange with the template, I’m convinced.antoniu1 Friendantoniu1

September 14, 2006 at 10:19 pm #210512I see what you mean and I agree in that sense.
I remember I had the same problem actually with facileforms. When the form height is not set to a fixed size – which shouldn’t be nessecary – the bottom ends up where the bottom of the last module ends – even when that is at 1/3 of the form!
This template has some kind of fluid defines for the modules – even though I have no idea what that means. :-)) But still, it seems true. What I find such a shame is that the support here is very limited, questions are hardly responded to.

September 15, 2006 at 4:45 pm #210521So what now?
I have already branded the website with this template. A change now would confuse users and do harm to our brand. Nevertheless, users must be able to access all core joomla functions (as well as CB functions).
I want to make this work, but as antoniu1 notes, the support here does not leave me with much hope.Daniel Michaels FriendDaniel Michaels

September 16, 2006 at 12:14 am #210526You can find a little bit about “fluid” css on the joomla website (click here)
Unfortunately, I don’t know enough to help this situation.September 20, 2006 at 4:19 pm #210577Hi
I’m Vamba developer of Alberghi component, in the last days i’ve buy JoomlArt templates in order to test problems caused by my component.
For all problems are caused by component layout not caused by templates. Thanks

September 20, 2006 at 4:29 pm #210578That’s what I thought first time.
I see however that Michaedt has changed to a different – wellknown to me 😉 – template.

September 21, 2006 at 3:06 am #210579Hi all,
I’ve a close look at the problems you mention here. As you can see that most of our templates recently are tableless templates. They use <DIV> to make a layout. So when you insert a <DIV>, especially a <DIV> with float or position properties, into a <DIV>, you may have some CSS bugs.
The other template use a table to make a layout, so you don’t have such a strange CSS bug.
@martinb1 & Vamba: For the problem of the Alberghi component, feel free to contact me via YM! or eMail, I will try to assist your team as much as I can.
Best regards,
Hieu Nguyen
