    I upgraded JA News FP and JA News Modules today to the latest versions because of an overlap in IE7 with earlier versions.

    Now both have disappeared in IE7 completely. All is fine in IE8 and Firefox.

    I am using Joomla 1.5.15 and versions 1.3.3 of both modules.

    Many thanks and apologies if this has been asked before – I did search.

    Dear David!

    Please view html source of this page,. you’ll see so many dirty codes in content of articles

    Example:

    <script language=’JavaScript’ type=’text/javascript’>
    <!–
    var prefix = ‘mailto:’;
    var suffix = ”;
    var attribs = ”;
    var path = ‘hr’ + ‘ef’ + ‘=’;
    var addy97280 = ‘enquiries’ + ‘@’;
    addy97280 = addy97280 + ‘imagine-ryedale’ + ‘.’ + ‘org’ + ‘.’ + ‘uk’;
    document.write( ‘<a ‘ + path + ”’ + prefix + addy97280 + suffix + ”’ + attribs + ‘>
    </a>
    </script>
    <script language=’JavaScript’ type=’text/javascript’>
    <!–
    document.write( ‘<span style=’display: none;’>
    </script>
    <script language=’JavaScript’ type=’text/javascript’>
    <!–
    document.write( ‘</’ );
    document.write( ‘span>
    </script>

    they is the reason causing this problem, please remove them to content of articles

    Hi,

    I deleted the article – I couldn’t see the script in the html view but I got rid of the text and the home page content has re-appeared. But the problem still remains of the overlap. Can you kindly see what is causing that issue?

    Much appreciated.

    OK, I have now put in a flexible Headline Fixed Depth (zero value) and now the article title shows under the image – which is what I don’t want – in both Firefox and IE8.

    However, it does what I want to do now in IE7 and doesn’t show them and has no overlap!

    All I want to do is show the rotating image without the article headline and text.

    It seems that the settings are the issue here in the JA News FP module, afaict.

    Advice welcomed please. The images I want to show are all the same width and height: 680×340.

    Many thanks

    Delete all text in articles.

    Turn off:

    Headline tools

    Headline title

    Headline readmore

    Thank you for your help and for great templates.

    David
