September 1, 2008 at 1:35 pm #132792Hi,
My Labra site seems to work fine in (firefox…at little early) but not at all in IE. I used the quickstart for 1.5.First of all, when I click on the images (the 9 across the top), The appropriate page displays but I subsequently receive an IE Error message…
‘Internet Explorer cannot open the internet site
http ://mywebpage
operation aborted’I am forced to select ok to close the window, and then receive error message ‘Page cannot be displayed’
Also, I have not been able to recreate on my computer but, when I viewed in a friend’s IE, the tabs were enlarged misaligned and completed unusable.
Thank you…I am pretty much frozen here…so any insight would be appreciated.mj1256 Friendmj1256

September 1, 2008 at 2:37 pm #268172I would delete it and reinstall rather than debugging it, a reinstall takes 10 minutes max, debugging may never happen,
but if you must
check you configuration.php file and look for livesite parameter and make sure your full url is there, it looks like its missing the .com or what ever you extention is.

September 1, 2008 at 2:58 pm #268177Thank you for your response…i do have some tedious edits that i have already configured…i would hate to have to redo that.
i looked in the config file and the only thing i noticed regarding the domain name is some inconsistencies in the capitalization…so i changed all of that to lower case and will let you know about the outcome…
can i reinstall and still keep the content ?ellie_t Friendellie_t

September 24, 2008 at 1:46 pm #272106Hi!
I am having the same problem as ellie_t. With Firefox and Opera, everything works well. With IE 7 i can not load the page. I have tried it for testing on http://www.didisfussballcamp.de IE and got the same error as ellie_t
Did anybody know something about this? With others template, for example bee or ja purity, everything works fine. I am using Joomla 1.5.7. with a mysql4 database
Thanx for every kind of help.
Regards
Frank
