Hello every body!
I have just downloaded the Pollux template and I already have to face a few difficulties to get it working properly.
Please can someone tell me why is there a IE page error showing at the bottom? How to fix this? I am quite surprised as the template was said to be tested with IE and others. I know this topic has been talked about on this forum but no answer were given. Various questions concerning this error remain without answer.
Dear developper member team this is a special call for you. Why not answering this issue at once?
I am just a customer who purchased your template, installed it as required in the user manual and as explained we got to the forum as the problem persists. Thanks for supporting your commercial products.

In my experience there could be a number of reasons.
Is the place you have installed joomla to, have other non joomla related files in it? In other words, is there an existing site (static) that is in that directory.
If so, once you have deleted those files, the problem is likely to cease. I had java scripts already exisisting in one install I did that were causing the errors. I tried for hours to sort it by changing the template index.php page in various parts – that failed. So I tried with a couple of different templates that were not causing a problem in other installations and still got the errors.
So it could not have been the template. When the old site was deleted – error gone
Hope that helps

The fact is that when using another template the error does not appear any more. No I do not have another site in the joomla directory. The error says: “jasdl_activemenu is undefined”. line 9. Code 0.
Thanks to anyone that can bring help.

Can you post the live site URL here? The template was tested and running well in IE as you can see in our demo.

You will experience the problem on the front page – but it seems to work OK on the Contact Us page!!
