October 2, 2008 at 3:08 pm #273616Hi…thanks for answering!
We are on Shape 5 looking around. Exactly which cart did you download for free? We only see one extension that adjusts the columns. (S5 Column Cart) Is that the one you are talking about?Felipe Santos FriendFelipe Santos

October 3, 2008 at 10:09 pm #273787I thought perhaps the “Add to Cart” button was just an issue on my IE/Computer. I had a few people looking at the site yesterday and no one was seeing what my computer showed (See Screen shot in first post).
Today I logged onto another computer and guess what? The buttons are messed up there too. :((
Nextideas,
I am using the mod you suggested. It’s pretty cool. Thank you. 😉 Problem is there are 100 other “Add to Cart” buttons throughout Virtuemart.Felipe Santos FriendFelipe Santos

October 11, 2008 at 7:33 pm #274791Hi Guys… we are desperate to get this problem fixed. We’ve also posted on Virtuemart’s forum. We have been UNABLE to fix the “Add to Cart” button. We’ve exhausted all efforts. We have tested on four computers with Explorer and all of them are showing a double image on the Add to cart button.
Screen Shot: Click Here
Site Address (not yet live): deleted urlPlease, any help would be appreciated!! We are almost ready to go live with this site but we have been unable to fix this one graphic. :(( We are so frustrated…
Edited to add: We have switched the template and the image works fine in IE. That leads us only to believe that it is the Larix Template.

Have you been able to fix it, as now I see when going over the shop section no double txt no more (in Google Chrome). But, the products in the slider on the frontpage show nothing but the pics and name, seems you disabled the functions…
Also, I do not know if you always have cookies enabled with your browsers, I have not, so I get the annyoing “Shape5 Cart Message” that I must enable cookies to place products to my shopping cart and as far a I know this only comes along with Shape5 Carts. This is one reason I did not sign up at Shape5 in the first run, their site shows the same at sign up. One types in all information including password etc. hits the submit button and nothing happens but all text one just typed in is gone, one is prompted to provide all informaion again and to enable cookies first.>:( Also when this message comes up already when first visiting the site, a lot of people oversee it or even do not what cookies are as far not cookies with sugar are meant…. 🙂
This thing happening in a shop can cause that customers get annoyed, and also when the pottery is great, they say, “I may take a look at overstock.com before I have to change here my browser and all that, type all in again and still it does maybe not work…there I have an account already and that one works out too….”
Just a tip when using Shape5 Carts.;)

October 11, 2008 at 8:29 pm #274797We are aware of the cookie information message you are seeing. We have not disabled it from the Virtuemart admin panel yet. It is not part of the Shape 5 cart but the Virtuemart.
Still looking for help to the double image! The customer wants to go live on Monday. 😮

I have more than one VM online and all show no cookie warning and have no Shape5 cart… It is definitely standing in a relationship to Shape5 carts.;)
When you keep this, your clients problem, that is right, but the type of customer like me, who buys when something looks good but not when the purchase is a hassle like that what cookies can cause, your client looses my dollars before even getting the chance to get mine, and right away.;)

The cookie warning has been there long before the Shape 5 module was added. It has been disabled in the Virtuemart Admin panel. Hopefully you no longer see the message. 🙂Still looking for answer to the Add to cart image! 😉

</blockquote>Thanks, now I am a happy customer again. 🙂
Can double image mean both options enabled, like text option on and picture option on at the same time, so the cart diplays the image “add to cart” and on top also the text “add to cart” or transparent image “add to cart” at the same time. It kinda looks like that.
How about simply erasing the transparent image from your server or when then a placeholder is displayed quickly creating a same small gif that is transparent too but without text!
Your client wants to go online on Monday?
You still have more than 24 hours left, mam!

October 11, 2008 at 9:07 pm #274804This option will not stand in the way to go online on monday, the double text would be gone, you could go online and still can find the better solution later but without the pressure and also you can simply go online then.
