September 28, 2008 at 7:22 am #133825Hi All
I am viewing this page now in Firefox, I always used to use IE7 but for some strange reason Joomlart forum pages have now become a place of the operation aborted….
2956
I can open the Joomlart homepage and all is well I can enter the forum section and again all is working fine, but as soon as I go to read a post or private message this is what I am welcomed with.
Its pretty obvious that this is not happening to everyone, but has anyone suffered from anything similar in the past and does anyone have a possible solution they would like to share with us…
Thanks in advance
Phil

September 28, 2008 at 8:42 am #272804It did start around the same time Menalto…I was thinking along the same lines.
Message
“Internet Explorer cannot open the internet site” <joomla adress> “Operation aborted”
Then is closes out to the Internet
Explorer cannot display the webpage
Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.Whats the chances of removing the newsletter link for a time to see if the problem is corrected

September 28, 2008 at 11:30 am #272815I have just detected a conflict between Mootool and Vbulletin when we enable the newsletter signup box at the top of the forum
This has caused above problem as well as the editor issues.
The script has been removed so thing must be working well now!
