Hi,
Please could someone help me, My site looks okay and works fine in all browsers apart from IE.
The menu gets messed up, the main menu lines up on one side and the sub menus are all over the page.
I have been having this problem for about a week now. I managed to fix the index page but on other pages it goes wrong. Sometimes when you click a sub menu it is okay.
Thank youlamvt Friendlamvt

As regards the problem, have it appeared after a hack had been applied or new plugin/component installed?

November 11, 2009 at 4:22 pm #323285IE 8 sucks, that being said, you need to provide a link to your site if you want help. We can’t help you based on your description.

November 21, 2009 at 10:46 pm #324566What happens when you disable the ja tabs modules, and assign the Modules that are assigned to ja tabs to the right?
November 23, 2009 at 9:46 pm #324714Still the same, the right side is still empty….
I have attached a screen shot to look at.
Thanks in advance

November 24, 2009 at 1:42 am #324724Looking at you image, it’s not the typical issue others are experiencing with the JA tabs not showing up in IE.
Have you done any custom configurations on the front page? or made any changes to the IE css files? looks like your modules stop loading after the FP News mod loads.Anonymous ModeratorJA Developer

This issue is from some articles which you made an error as follows:
+ When you copy the content from MS.Word, you have to clear all formats via parsing this content to Notepad and copy from to Notepad to Joomla
+ You are using the read more link (hr tag) and this tag is into a div tag
<div> ..... <hr id="system-readmore" /> .... </div>
November 24, 2009 at 9:18 am #324768You are right….
the problem is that we’ve copied and pasted a word document. when cleaning / removing the word HTML tags the problem was fixed.
Thank you all for contributing.
