IE6 Pop Up Windows

I have used a number of great templates from this site and I will say that Joomlart definitely is the number one on the market. Only one complaint or comment that I am looking for assistance on.

With each template we have used we have had allot of responses from the clients that the older browsers do not display properly which is understandable with old browsers such as IE6, etc.

We are in need of some way to trigger a Pop Up window or a message of some sort for a client if they have IE6 so that they can upgrade with the extensions we give them. 1) Is there any way to turn something like this on in the backend of the templates? or 2) Can someone provide direction for us with what we can do to complete this?

Well,yes there is one plugin for IE6 WARNING . Just get it from JED and upload it and configure it.
After that,whenever you site gets opened on IE6,your visitors will get a direct WARNING message and a link to upgrade IE browser..

isgroup, Thanks for the response and this sounds like it will help. Only question is what is the “JED” sorry we are fairly new to this site so I might not be looking in the right area. And does this plugin have a name?
